We communicate easily through Slack. Our client, believes in a world where you have instant access to all the dozens of tools at your disposal. That’s why they are building the first AppStore for Companies. You go to our client’s AppStore, request an app, say GitHub, pick the right repositories you need, your manager approves the request through Slack and our client creates your GitHub account — instantly. No long IT ticket queues anymore.

On their path to build the portal to all your superpowers on the web, they have reached an inflection point: Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) backed them, their team has grown to ~20 people, they’re exponentially growing their customer base, and are very soon launching out of stealth.

As their Product Designer, you are taking on one of the most important jobs in the company: shaping and defining a unique user experience. Our client is not a security or identity company that puts UI/UX as a second-order goal; it is truly core to their business value and differentiates them from old and user-unfriendly tools in the space. You will have to learn how to think like their users and represent their point of view when they prioritize their roadmap. That’s why you will work hand-in-hand with the CEO and create a seamless user experience for customers.

Beyond your design work, you’ll gain massive leadership responsibilities early-on as they close initial customers and rapidly grow the team. You’ll be involved in scaling the product, the team, and the entire company.

Your Role

• Establish and drive a design philosophy to underpin how their digital experience unleashes the full potential for any user.
• Own and build a scalable design system and component library that makes it easy for their developers to bring your designs to life.
• Drive the product research process end to end and turn user insights into wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity designs that their users will love.
• Run and evaluate user tests to iteratively reduce the usability risk and value risk in our products.
