Job: Senior Android developer

About The Role

As a Mobile Developer with our client, you will need to have leadership skills, in order to guide a team of engineers and align them with projects needs.  Delivery skills, to be able to complete a project and/or tasks in a timely manner.  Communication skills to help stakeholders (such as founders) understand what is happening, and what is needed.  And, recruiting skills, to help recruit and grow a team of engineers, creating a sustainable engineering culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android development using Java
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Within +/-2 time zones from Colombia

Preferred

• 3D programming experience (e.g. with Unity)
• Computer vision and/or machine learning
• C++

About Our Client

Our client is building the railway to reduce waste and facilitate commerce.

They are a B2B SAAS platform helping quarry’s, plants and constructors eliminate environmental and financial waste by providing them with an effective tool of control and measurement of their inventory with 96% accuracy.

They are changing the way that raw materials are measured, priced, and bought. Currently, $80bn worth of construction materials are being priced (and paid for) based on eye-measurements in Latam alone, costing the industry $16bn per year.

They are building a vertically integrated software product on top of their measuring tool that includes: buy/sell contract management tools, inventory management, BI technology, payments and financing.
