The role
They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of their core data infrastructure. In this role, you will design and maintain ELT pipelines, build and evolve their semantic layer, and develop AI agents and automation workflows tailored to logistics use cases. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Product, and Sales to ensure data is reliable, well-modelled, and ready for both self-serve analytics and agentic workflows.
This is a high-ownership position — ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, moves fast, and cares deeply about data quality and architecture.
What you’ll own
- ELT pipelines via Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake
- Data orchestration using dbt Cloud and Prefect
- Data models supporting Operations, Finance, Product, and Sales
- Semantic context layer that powers agentic workflows and self-serve data products
- AI agents and automation workflows for logistics use cases
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong dbt and Snowflake expertise, including semantic layer tooling (MetricFlow, dbt Semantic Layer, Snowflake Semantic Views, or similar)
- Experience building or contributing to a semantic/metric layer that feeds downstream data products or AI agents
- Python proficiency for complex pipeline development
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
