Our client is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled technologist with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, scripting, coding, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Terraform
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Ruby, and Bash to streamline operational processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate coding practices into the CI/CD pipeline, with a focus on JavaScript (JS) and NextJS applications.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions, including CloudWatch, Datadog, and other relevant tools, to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Work on the configuration and optimization of CI/CD processes, utilizing Amplify Builds and GitHub workflows.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in DevOps

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in cloud technologies, with proficiency in Azure, AWS, and Terraform
• Proficient scripting skills in Python, Ruby, and Bash
• Solid coding skills, with experience in JavaScript (JS) and NextJS
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
• In-depth understanding and practical experience with CI/CD processes, using tools like Amplify Builds and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or a similar capacity
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices are a plus
