About Our Client

Our Client is looking for a senior software engineer to work in conjunction with the CTO to take them from 0 to 1 in building out a B2B fintech data consortium. Our Client was founded in NYC in 2023 by experienced entrepreneurs who saw the potential for a fresh take at leveraging AI to maximize the strength in numbers within the commercial banking and lending space. The co-founders, Jonathan & Tim, are both second time founders, with Tim having sold his last startup to Snap in 2020. Our Client raised $4m from top tier VCs and fintech/banking executives.

The company’s solution was designed from the ground up by Financial Institutions who emphasized their interest to coordinate their efforts to mitigate B2B fraud, reduce the risk associated with working with small businesses, and create a centralized, privacy-compliant entity for data-sharing between financial institutions.

With experience across 5 money center, regional and community banks, Fortune 500 technology companies, and fintech unicorns, Our Client is built by financial institutions, for financial institutions.

Specifically, they’ll be building an API and database to store anonymized data from hundreds of institutions securely while also providing realtime monitoring and alerting services.

Ideally looking for someone with experience in Python + Django and experience building on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Data pipelining, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes will all be core components of the infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Software Engineering 4+ years of experience
Python 2+ years of experience
Django 2+ years of experience
Fast API 2+ years of experience
GCP 2+ years of experience
PostgreSQL 1+ years of experience

Nice to haves:

Knowledge/experience with ENT
Experience with Docker
