About the Role:
Our client seeks a Systems Administrator / DevOps Engineer who will be integral to their IT team, ensuring the efficient operation and support of their infrastructure. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills and strong customer support abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Providing 1st line support to customers.
- Assisting non-technical team members with technical issues.
- Configuring, testing, and deploying new GPU servers and virtual machines.
- Maintaining and updating automation workflows (scripts, Ansible, etc.).
- Enhancing and updating technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
- Proficiency in Linux and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Solid experience in customer support.
- Fluency in English for direct customer communication.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Linux systems.
- Experience with Ansible and Bash scripting.
- Knowledge of NVIDIA GPUs and related technologies.
- Familiarity with hypervisors and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Slurm.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including switches and routers.
- Skills in Linux disk management and distributed file systems such as Ceph and GlusterFS.
