Our client is leading a transformation in the home services industry by using AI to replace outdated manual processes. Their platform automates sales, streamlines back-office operations, and makes fieldwork more efficient for technicians.
Our client is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help us develop and scale their core platform. You’ll primarily focus on backend systems and API development, while also contributing to frontend development to support full-feature delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver effective and reliable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build scalable APIs and backend systems using modern tools and frameworks
- Work closely with product and design teams to turn business requirements into strong technical solutions
- Contribute to the frontend as needed using Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
- Write clean, maintainable, and secure code with a strong focus on performance and reliability
- Participate in architectural decisions as they scale the platform and expand capabilities
- Own features from inception to deployment and iteration
- Take part in product discussions and contribute to the roadmap with your technical insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building full-stack or backend-heavy web applications
- Strong backend development experience, ideally with Python or Node.js
- Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with modern frontend frameworks like Next.js
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
- Strong product sense and attention to user needs
Bonus Points
- Experience in early-stage startups or fast-growing teams
- Familiarity with conversational interfaces or AI-based products
- Experience building or maintaining design systems or component libraries
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
