Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Collections Analyst to join our growing team. This role is essential for ensuring the effectiveness of our collections process and the activation of loans through direct visits to our clients in various parts of Mexico. It is a very hands-on role where you will be in the field helping to manage accounts receivable, strengthening relationships with our clients, and ensuring the timely activation of loans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to clients in various locations throughout Mexico to manage collections and ensure loan activation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and challenges to facilitate effective payment agreements.
  • Coordinate and execute action plans for the recovery of overdue credits, adjusting strategies according to each client’s circumstances.
  • Perform field audits to verify the financial and operational status of clients, ensuring the accuracy of information in the collections records.
  • Work closely with the credit and collections team to develop and implement strategies that improve recovery rates.
  • Maintain a detailed and up-to-date record of all client interactions and actions taken, ensuring transparency and proper follow-up.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and report to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities to improve the collections process.
  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment where responsibilities may vary according to team and client needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in collections, credit recovery, or related roles.
  • Availability to travel frequently across Mexico and work in the field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
  • Experience managing client portfolios in the financial sector, preferably in credit and loans.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of collections management tools and CRM is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
