Job: Product Designer – Fintech

Our client is hiring a senior product designer on behalf of one of their U.S.-based fintech clients. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you’ll work closely with their internal team to shape the design of a product tackling global financial crime through cutting-edge AI and data infrastructure.

Our client is building tools to help financial institutions identify and report money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of illicit financial activity — addressing a $6T+ global problem. Despite massive efforts and spending, less than 1% of laundered money is detected today. They’re aiming to fix that by transforming messy financial data into actionable insights with a modern, intuitive platform.

What You’ll Do

• Lead UX/UI design for a complex, data-driven web app
• Create branding elements and evolve the visual identity of the product
• Redesign the marketing website to reflect the company’s mission and product value
• Design assets for paid media and sales collateral (e.g., decks, one-pagers, social ads)
• Build and maintain a scalable design system for future product growth

Who You Are

• 5+ years of design experience across product, web, and branding
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution
• Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills — clear, proactive, and user-focused
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience designing AI-powered products
• Basic front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Prior experience supporting a brand from early-stage to growth
