About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Developer to join their team. The selected developers will work on building integrations with various POS systems for the this program platform. This role requires strong independent problem-solving skills and excellent communication to ensure efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Independently tackle tasks and deliver high-quality code.
- Build API layers to interface with this program platform.
- Integrate multiple POS systems, normalizing data for the this API.
- Ensure code is thoroughly tested and meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Tech Lead and other team members to ensure project success.
- Participate in calls to resolve issues and debug as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL databases.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to participate in calls for debugging and issue resolution.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code and complete tasks efficiently.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Previous experience in POS system integration.
- Advanced knowledge in API development and data normalization.
