Job: Senior Java Developer – Fintech (Spring Boot + AWS)

About the Role:

Our client is  seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their growing fintech platform as they expand into the digital wallet space. You will play a key role in adapting and scaling their systems to integrate new APIs and functionalities. This position requires strong Java expertise, particularly with Spring Boot, and a deep understanding of cloud environments, specifically AWS. Experience in the fintech industry, especially working with merchants or betting houses, is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate and adapt wallet APIs into their existing platform.
• Implement and adjust logic for client account separation and transaction management.
• Collaborate closely with the full-stack developer and product teams.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of the wallet solution.
• Leverage AWS services for backend operations, deployments, and optimizations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Background working in fintech, especially on merchant integrations or e-wallets.
• Solid understanding of payment flows, security, and compliance in fintech.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
